Arts Training for
Working with Older Adults

About

The Academy for Creative Aging is an online resource for teaching artists, educators, and providers to learn how the aging brain responds to creative learning. This module-based, certificate program enables teaching artists to learn at their own pace. Assessments follow each learning module, to help participants reflect on and retain each lesson. Our goal is to prepare professionals to engage older adults in substantive creative aging projects and activities that will positively impact the cognitive functions and wellbeing of seniors. Upon successful completion of the academy curriculum, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
